Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2025 · Effective: January 2025

Babytage is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user. We aim to be transparent, minimal, and responsible with any data we handle.

01.Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as when you subscribe to our newsletter, contact us, or make a purchase. This may include your name, email address, and general location. We also collect usage data — pages visited, time spent, and device information — through standard analytics tools to improve our platform.

02.How We Use Your Information

We use your information to send newsletters you've opted into, respond to support requests, process orders through our shop subdomain, and improve our guides and product recommendations. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

03.Cookies

We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (via privacy-respecting tools) to understand how our content is used. You can opt out of non-essential cookies via our cookie banner. We do not use advertising cookies or fingerprinting technologies.

04.Third-Party Services

Our shop operates on shop.babytage.com via AliDropship. When you make a purchase, your transaction is processed by AliDropship's payment infrastructure. We also use Unsplash for educational imagery on our guides — no personal data is shared with Unsplash. Newsletter delivery is handled by a GDPR-compliant email provider.

05.Data Retention

We retain newsletter subscriber data until you unsubscribe. Order data is retained for 7 years for legal and accounting purposes. Analytics data is anonymized after 26 months.

06.Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email. For data requests or deletion, contact us at privacy@babytage.com. We respond within 30 days.

07.Children's Privacy

Babytage is a platform for parents and caregivers — not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our content is educational information about babies, intended for adult readers.

08.Medical Disclaimer

All content on Babytage is for educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any health concerns about your child.

09.Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to subscribers and posted prominently on our website. Continued use of Babytage after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
